报告摘要：We'll approach Harmonic Theory in Mathematics from the viewpoints of Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu and the Book of Changes or I-Ching. Comparing diverse phenomena and discovering secret unity, we’ll describe the background and current work on the interesting relations between unifications of dualities in mathematics from a harmonic viewpoint, their generalizations in various fields, average variational method, and comparison principle with applications in physics. We’ll emphasize the interface, interconnectedness, or unity with simple and concrete examples.
